the health condition of former high ranking officials of the criminal police, Irakli Pirtskhalava and Giorgi Tsaadze, who are accused on the so-called court case, became even more difficult. Former high ranking officials of the Criminal Police have been on hunger strike for 10 days asking the Prosecutor`s Office to get interested in their case.

Malkhaz Velijanashvili, the attorney of the convicts, says that Irakli Pirtskhalava and Giorgi Tsaadze are unable to move independently.

"They are so weak that they can not even move. As for the response, I would like to express my respect to the Public Defender`s Office and also there wasresponse from the President, as to the Prosecutor"s Office,there was no response from them despite the fact that the hunger strike continues for the 10th day, they have not yet responded to the question of whether or not investigation is going on at all, "- said Malkhaz Velijanashvili.

Irakli Pirtskhalava"s wife, Nino Khvitia, says that the condition is serious and the convicts need hospitalization, but the hunger strikers refused.

Irakli Pirtskhalava and Giorgi Tsaadze are not going to stop hunger-strike before the prosecutor"s office meets their request.
