After the 120-day imprisonment the son of the "Kronika +" editor, was freed by the judge from the courtroom on his own initiative. According to Khatuna Kharchilava`s decision, Davit Kharshiladze, accused of the purchase of large amounts of narcotic substance, will freed for 15 thousand GEL bail. The fact was unexpected for the accused and his attorneys who did not request the replacement of the preventive measure.

Davit kharshiladze who faces 8 to 20 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment, is waiting for the final judgment of the court. After the verdict, he said,he would file a suit against the law enforcers who planted drugs on him.

Mikheil Tatarashvili is preparing a suit against the police as well. The friend of the president`s daughter was charged with purchase of narcotic substances, and the court found him not guilty a few weeks ago. Tatarishvili blames the police for plantng drugs and is plannng to start a legal battle against the Interior Ministry. The Public Defender also requests to react to the facts of abuse of power by the police and initiate the investigation.
