Representatives of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), who arrived in Georgia to study the process of preparing for local elections and the political environment, will be meeting representatives of media and diplomatic corps on today.

The meeting is scheduled to be held with Aleko Elisashvili, independent Mayoral candidate.

According to Elisashvili, the government plans to use administrative resources for the elections.

"It is unfortunate that the authorities do not seem to have got rid of a very bad tradition of previous governments and should use the administrative resources as much as possible. The proof of the fact is that we saw the meeting in favor of one of the government candidates in the restaurant. We will talk about changes in the Code of Self-Government, which is very incomprehensible, about to the current situation in the country, " - said Aleko Elisashvili.

Other Mayoral candidates have already met with representatives of NDI.
