"We have appealed to the Ukrainian side twice officially from the Chief Prosecutor"s Office with a request of Mikleil Saakashvili"s extradition and we have twice received official refusal ,"- said the Minister of Justice of Georgia-Tea Tsulukiani.

According to Tea Tsulukiani, the Georgian side requested the extradition on the grounds of evidence.

The Minister of Justice says that the Ukrainian side can make the decision, which is already acceptable to them at this stage. According to her, Georgian prosecutors will cooperate with Ukrainian counterparts on this case in the future.

The Minister of Justice declares that the third President;s extradition is not a political issue.
