At the end of the day, the Europe Square was symbolically illuminated in the colors of the flags of Georgia and the United States. The Metekhi Bridge and the surrounding area as well as on TV mast funicular were also illuminated in these colors. The concert in honor of Mike Pence was held in Pushkin Square.

After Donald Trump`s election as the President, this is the first visit of the US high ranking official in Georgia. Mike Pence is in Tbilisi within the frames of his European tour. He arrived from Estonia yesterday and will now leave for Montenegro.
