The employees of the Georgian Railway"s Kakheti department protest against the changed working conditions and plan to go on a hunger strike. According to the employees, a few days ago they were told that their working place will be the capital instead of Kakheti.

According to railway employees they will not be able to work away from the region without reimbursement of housing, transportation and nutrition fees.

The trade unions give the administration seven days to change the decision, after which the employees will go on a hunger strike.
