Two German tourists are missing in Ushba, Svaneti. The Emergency Management Agency reported yesterday. Rescue squads are working on Ushba at this moment.

The reason for the disappearance of tourists is unknown. Rescue service employees will discuss all possible options.

According to Mestia governor Kakha Zhorzholiani, contact has been lost with the tourists, a father and his son, since August 1.

“A search was underway by helicopter all day long yesterday, but unfortunately no trace was found, "said Kakha Zhorzholiani.
