Defense Minister is in Afghanistan. Levan Izoria, along with the head of the General Staff met with firefighters of Mdinar Bebiashvili, who died as a result of the assault on the Bagram Air Base on August 3.

Two military servicemen Gela Keladze and Goderdzi Kharshiladze who were slightly injured as a result of the attack, were awarded with the medals.

"We express our sympathy for the fact of the death of a junior sergeant. We express our strong support to our soldiers in Georgia, "-said Levan Izoria.
