Under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Georgia, the meeting lasted until late last night.
After a two-hour- long meeting Giorgi Kvirikashvili called on the population to calm down and said that there is no danger of the fire spreading.
The Prime Minister also addressed the volunteers and asked them to refrain from visiting the perimeter nearby the fire at this stage, as these would hinder firefighters.
Prior to arriving at the emergency headquarters, the head of the government met with the members of the government in the village of Daba.
