According to Levan Bezhashvili, the contest was announced yesterday to select the PEC members, but the order was not publicized, the Georgian Dream mobilized the party asset in two hours and registered 27 applicants for the commission.

Speaker of the Central Election Commission of Georgia Ana Mikeladze said that the competition was announced in full compliance with the legislation.

"District Election Commissions have announced the selection of PECs in full compliance with the legislation. Information about announcement of the competition was public. Anyone could file an application As for the process of selection, the Commission discusses the criteria that are written in the election code, "- said Ana Mikeladze.

As to Bezhashvili`s statement that most of the contestants did not conceal that the Georgian Dream`s headquarters was warned in advance and that they had party interests. it was explained that if the fact is confirmed, the election administration will react according to the law.
