Analysts react on the decision of Georgian government to ask for assistance from Russia. Nodar Kharshiladze, the founder of the Strategic Analysis Center of Georgia calls the incident insulting.
The expert considers that in the current situation, when Russia occupies 20% of the country, it is wrong step.
"There were no victims and it was not an epidemic, on which depended the fate of the country , so that we could think that we could ask Russia for help. In other cases it is insulting for Georgia even to think about it.
The next step would probably be to ask Russia to deploy the police and the army in order to establish order in Georgia, even the fact that somebody thought about it our government and addressed Russia with a request on assistance, indicates that everything is not normal in our heads," Nodar Kharshiladze said.
