The work and procedural violations of the selection commission for candidates to be submitted to the European Court of Human Rights - Chairman of the Bar Association intends to file a complaint to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

According to Zaza Khatiashvili, part of the commission members acted on the instructions of the Minister of Justice and gave to the candidates low or high points in agreement with her.

"In Georgia, everybody who has made a case against Rustavi2 or scolded Rustavi 2 or took part in the decision against Rustavi2, t is encouraged. I am going to file a complaint against the procedure and write to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to indicate clearly that the Georgian authorities dismissed the candidates who are highly qualified, "- said Zaza Khatiashvili.

The Georgian government has already selected 2 nominees for the Strasbourg Court. Candidates - Lali Papiashvili and Otar Sichinava are supposedly to be presented today or tomorrow to the European Court.
