Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia states that two Georgian helicopters alongside with aircraft of three friend countries are working to extinguish fire in Abastumani.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili made a statement at the government session.

According to the Prime Minister, more than 1000 people are mobilized in the disaster zone and negotiations are being held with Iran to send fire-rescue helicopter if needed.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili says that if climate conditions will not worsen, fire will be soon localized.
