One firefighter was injured when a fire broke out in the woods. As the injured man who broke fingers on his right hand, says, the accident occurred on the spot where he was involved in fire extinguishing work.

Doctors say his health condition is satisfactory. He was given medical asistance and the firefighter would continue his treatment at home.

Firefighting works have been resumed in Kakheti today.
