Fire is not localized in the Kokhta Mountains. A head of Kakheti Forestry Agency has made an announcement. According to Davit Khatiashvili, situation in the disaster zone is difficult because the fire is in the inaccessible area. The head of the forestry agency says that it is impossible to bring special equipment to the scene.
"The Ministry of Internal Affairs has brought Special Tasks Service. They are mobilized and have already started to work. Helicopters are also here. To Iranian helicopters have arrived,"- said Davit Khatiashvili.
Volunteers have also been involved in firefighting works with the rescuers and Special Forces Department in the village of Argana .However due to security reasons, they were restricted to get closer to fire.
