The regulayory commission started to review water tariff from today. How much consumer will pay for drinking water in Tbilisi, Rustavi and Mtskheta will be known by the end of December. Today one citizen pays 3 lari and 14 tetri for drinking water per month. The opposition is sure that this tariff will increase and more than half a million consumers will pay much more. Today, Labor Party met with the supporters at the session of the "SEMEC" to protest the possible increase of tariff.

The first resistance the Labor Party encountered at the entrance tothe GNCC where police cordon was. Patrol police officers did not allow part of supporters of the "Labors" to attend the meeting on the grounds that the hall did not have enough places. After the fight, the "Labor Party" political secretary managed to get into the session, after which the controversy started with the members of the commission. Giorgi Gugava accused "GNCC" of executing the order of the government.

The energy regulatory commission should make a decision before December 31. The new tariffs for consumers for drinking water in the regions will be determined from January. Customers will pay a new tariff on electricity in the capital, starting from 2018.
