Zurab Sotkilava, the famous Georgian opera star died in Moscow, after a long-lasting illness at the age of 80.

Zurab Sotkilava the distinguished artist, a tenor, a laureate of many prizes was performing at the Georgian Opera and Ballet Theater for many years. In 1973, he made his debut at the "Bolshoi Teater" in Moscow.

According to preliminary information, Zurab Sotkilava will be buried in Georgia.
