Continuation of Patriarchate`s scandal - person who allegedly was sheltered in Patriarch`s residence is in extradition imprisonment

The person, who was allegedly sheltered the Patriarch residence in Tbilisi, is currently in extradition imprisonment.

After Soso Okhanashvili, the former head of Patriarch` security s guard, Chkondidi Metropolitan Petre Tsaava, accuses Shorena Tetruashvili of hiding in the Patriarch`s residence of the people wanted for terrorism. The Archbishop also says that the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Patriarchate, George Andriadze says that the above mentioned persons are IDP he is speculating with Lazi"s topic.

The Chief Prosecutor`s Office confirmed that at the request of the neighboring state they indeed detained two citizens accused of joining the armed terrorist group. One of them - Mustafa Zorlugan"s extradition in Turkey has already occurred, the other remains in detention in Georgia and is waiting for the completion of extradition procedure.

"Courier" has found out that Mustafa Zhorzhugan, who is now in prison in Turkey and was in Gldani prison, was defended by Davit Karchava, a lawyer of the Patriarchate.

In addition, Giorgi Andriadze claims that Zorlugan is a political refugee and the is persecuted by the Turkish government only for political views. The representative of the Patriarchate University does not make further explanations on this issue.
