A few minutes ago Irakli Mekvabishvili`s briefing was finished, where he spoke about the staff changes, according to which the deputy general auditor Nino Lomjaria was dismissed from her post.

Mekvabishvili said that when taking this decision, he had no political motivation. Irakli Mekvabishvili also noted that he signed the appointment of three new deputies.

"Mr. Nodar has a great experience in the public sector and I think that this team, two new members who have no experience in the public sector and Mr. Nodar, will be a strong team and these changes were necessary to make the Audit Service effective. This was my decision based on a professional angle, "- said General Auditor of the State Audit Office of Georgia Irakli Mekvabishvili.
