From the 63rd to the 87th place, index of freedom of justice fell by 24 points

According to the survey of the International Economic Forum, the index of freedom of justice in Georgia has dropped by 24 points in the past year.

The secretary of the High Council of Justice does not understand what the authors of the survey were guided with and on which basis they made a conclusion that Georgian court showed the deterioration of independence. Judge Giorgi Mikautadze considers the World Economic Forum conclusion unrealistic.

The international organization published results of the survey a few days ago, according to which Georgia has moved from 63rd to 87th this year.

Representatives of the ruling political force are convinced that the negative assessment of the international organization is related to the unhealthy criticism of the local NGO sector.
