According to the Minister of Justice, "It is important for Georgia a comprehensive investigation to be carried out by the Hague Prosecutor in regard to the military crimes committed during the Russian-Georgian war and all criminals should face international justice."

According to the minister an ethical cleansing, torture and murder of Georgian captives took place in 2008.

"It is important that the important institution of the Hague sees the activity of Georgia that is aimed at the sole purpose - To show the Hague prosecutor the ethnic cleansing of Georgians, which took place in 2008, the August war,"- said Tea Tsulukiani.
She made this statement after the meeting with Hague delegation today.

Members of the delegation also met with NGOs and media representatives. After the meeting, Nika Jeiranashvili, the representative of the Open Society - Georgia"s office in Hague, said that there is no unified strategy in the country towards this investigation.
