Girshel Bartaia, the member of United National Movement was not allowed into Ukraine. He has arrived to Kiev to participate in the International Tourism Festival, but the border guards did not allow him to cross the border. Mr. Bartaia is waiting for more than 24 hours at the Borispol Airport for the return flight.
According to him, only he was not allowed to enter the country from the whole delegation.

As Girshel Bartaia says, the border guards made a decision on political grounds, as he was on the territory of Ukraine on September 10 and attended a rally in support of Mikheil Saakashvili.

The Georgian consulate in Ukraine is informed about the issue, However, no one yet has contacted him.
