The accumulated pension may become mandatory for a part of the Georgian citizens. The Government is working on the reform. The amendments to the law should be introduced to the legislative body by the end of the year.

According to the statement of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Gakharia, the pension reform will start in the third quarter of next year.

According to the announcement, the model is 2 + 2 + 2 and it is mandatory for a certain segment. According to him, this is a starting model.
