According to experts, it is difficult to fight with Asian stink bug. Experts say that the insect does not have natural enemies and in spring it is expected to further proliferate.

The Academy of Agricultural Sciences says that all measures should be taken to destroy the insect.

"We should use all the measures , because it is a very dangerous situation. In Eastern Georgia there are more agricultural cultures, "- said Guram Aleksidze, president of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

When asked about the situation in the previous years, when the bug was noted in small quantity , if the bug would have spread with such a speed in case corresponding measures were taken,  Guram Aleksidze responded that the measures need to be carried out systematically.
