A demonstration is underway in front of the parliament. A mayoral candidate from " Free Georgia" and locals protest against the rise of gas tariff and a possible increase in electricity tariff.

The protesters have tried to block the road in front of the legislative body, but the police did not allow them to do so.

"Up to 20 thousand families remain without electricity every year in Kutaisi and up to 20 thousand children are without electricity, computer and television. 12 000 families remain without gas, "Gogi Tsulaia said.
