Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia conducted holy liturgy at Svetitskhovloba celebration

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia conducted the liturgy on the occasion of the Svetitskhovloba celebration. After the liturgy, Patriarch addressed the parish with the sermon.

Ilia II emphasized the significance of Svetitskhovloba and congratulated the population on holiday.

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, members of the government and opposition arrived in Svetitskhoveli on the festive service. Georgian Dream mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze and UNM Mayoral candidate,Zaliko Udumashvili attended the liturgy in the church. They congratulated the population with Svetitskhovloba.

Special measures have been taken in Mtskheta regarding the celebration of Svetitskhovloba. The movement of cars is limited. Cultural events are also held on the main street of the city.
