A young woman accused of sexually harassment a member of the party "Industry will save Georgia". The member of the NGO "Fair elections " sued the chairman of the Poti organization.

According to the complaint, the fact of harassment occurred on polling day in one of the polling stations in Poti.

Chairperson of the party`s regional organization states that the alleged violator who was a member of the commission at the polling station met with the complainant and talked with her. Chairman of the "Industrialists" Poti organization is convinced that this is an attemp to discredit.party

The commission chairperson and other members of the commission reject the incident. The chairperson of the commission declared only the fact and did not want to talk about the possible reaction.

NGOs do not exclude the issue of administrative liability against the abuser.

More severe penalties are not envisaged by the Georgian legislation.
