Detained member of Human Rights Defenders Association will appear before court today

The detained member of the Association of Human Rights Defenders will appear before the Court in several hours. Mikheil Kachkachishvili protested against the death of a 33-year-old man at the parliament and tried to block the road together with other participants of the incident when the law enforcers detained him.

According to the attorney, the human rights defender is charged with minor hooliganism. NGO members will hold another protest rally today at the Prosecutor`s Office.
