Residents of Varketili are waiting for meeting with the Vice Mayor of Tbilisi. If the answer from the City Hall is not satisfactory, the population intends to start rallies. They have been protesting against the construction of a residential building for several days.

According to them, the construction of another high-rise building will damage half of the garden square and the garage of .one of the local residents.

Yesterday the residents of the area did not allow workers to continue work and opposed the landowner. In the end, the parties took one-day time-out. They are waiting for the results of the meeting in the City Hall today.
