Thirteen instead of eighteen - five ministries will be abolished and will merge with the remaining ministries.
The Ministry of Energy will be united with the ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection will join the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Corrections will merge with Ministry of Justice. Ministries of culture and Sports will also be united.
As a result of the amendments, the position of the State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration will be abolished and the direction will be combined with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As for the ministers, Kakhi Kakhishvili will head the state investigative agency. Minister of Finance, Dimitri Kumsishvili is considered as the Head of the Ministry of Economy and Energy.
Minister of Economy Giorgi Gakharia will be appointed to the position of the Interior Ministert. Mamuka Bakhtadze and Kumsishvili"s First Deputy Giorgi Tabuashvili are nominated for the position of Finance Minister.
As it is known, the Prime Minister will make announcement about personnel and structural changes in the government at 11:00 tomorrow.
