The American Embassy handed over more than a thousand books to the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia . Fiction and language-learning board games will be placed in the Anglo-American Reading Library.

The literature worth of 87 thousand dollars encompasses encyclopedias, a complete collection of modern American poetry, books about art and world culture. This is the second gift from the US Embassy.

"It is necessary to renew the collection regularly and to support our gift in this regard. Besides books, there are also table games that will help the learners to learn English. It is important that part of the books will be distributed in the regions too, "said Jan Kelly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Georgia.
