All those who are guilty of this tragedy will be punished - Prime Minister of Georgia responded to the fire in "Leo Grand" Hotel in Batumi. Giorgi Kvirikashvili expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of fire.

"First of all, I express my condolences to the families and relatives of those killed in the fire in Batumi, which is very difficult for each of us, at this stage the fire is being liquidated and the injured have been transferred to medical institutions - their lives are not in danger, survivors and firefighters were able to save more than one hundred people. Thanks to each of them for the devoted service , the investigation has begun on the incident and all the relevant services are mobilized to determine the causes of the fact. Today we all stand by the families and relatives of the victims,"- the Prime Minister"s statement says.

In several hours after the fire, the head of government and government members arrived in Batumi.
Giorgi Kvirikshvili arrived at the scene where he met Levan Maisuradze, head of the Patrol Police Department of Adjara.
