Parliamentarians are demanding explanations from the National Bank of Georgia today, but economic experts believe that instead of the NBG, the parliament would better ask for the explanation the government"s economic team. The experts say that the question of what happened because of the government has to be answered by the government.

Economist Giorgi Papava attributes impairment to the country"s poor economic policy in recent years. According to him, the "Georgian Dream" team tries to override the issues related to the depreciation of the Lari to the National Bank.

Reflection in prices means that everything will be expensive and it will reflect on people"s pockets. Consequently, the National Bank remains the only instrument - this is a tightening of the refinancing rate or maintaining a higher level, which means a slowdown in economic growth.
