Mikheil Saakashvili is not the interesting figure in Georgia - the statement has been made by the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia. Irakli Kobakhidze has responded to the detention and accusation against Mikheil Saakashvili.

According to him, Mikheil Saakashvili does not have Georgian citizenship, therefore the question of his extradition is questionable until legal issues are resolved.

"In this case, the relevant agencies will decide everything. Georgian agencies will be involved in resolving this issue. The main thing is the legal settlement. In political terms Saakashvili is no longer relevant in Georgia,"- Mikheil Kobakhidze said.
