Today a part of the Orthodox world, including Georgia is celebrating the birthday of the Savior.

The solemn liturgy was held in all active Orthodox churches. The Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia conducted the service at the Holy Trinity Cathedral. After the Divine service, the Patriarch"s Epistle was introduced to the parish.

In the traditional Christmas epistle the Patriarch emphasized several problems, including the strengthening of Christian faith, the strive of young people towards narcotics and the rehabilitation centers for them.
