Former parliamentary secretary of the president of Georgia has thanked the president for her appointment as a member of the High Council of Justice. Ana Dolidze has made a statement at the briefing held at the President"s Administration.

Dolidze, who was named as the non-judge member of the High Council of Justice today, spoke about existing problems and challenges.

Ana Dolidze has named one of the main problems, which is delaying trials.

"The function of the judiciary is to ensure effective and high-quality justice, and many of our citizens are waiting for judgment every day and this waiting continues sometimes for months and years," said Anna Dolidze.
