The residents of Pankisi are excluded connection of another detainee on charges of assisting terrorism, Zurab Idoyadze with Ahmed Chataev,. They do not trust the information released by the State Security Service. According to locals, during the search of Zurab Idoyadze"s house in Omalo village, only a computer was seized and he had no weapons.

"The innocent guy is arrested. Whoever is caught, all are innocent.
They say he brought in Chataev, wedo not know , may be the government helped himto enter the country.I do not believe anything filmed by the State Security, nor do I believe the elders, "Malkhaz Mutoshvili said.

Zurab Idoyidze was detained by the State Security Service. Upon searching of the family by up to ten special forces employees, a personal computer was seized.

The State Security claims that Zurab Idodze is the person who visited Ahmet Chataev and his team members in the Turkish city of Khopa with Zurab Gornakashvili and brought them by car to the border of Georgia to Kirnati-Maradidi Green Line.
