Nino Lomjaria, the ombudsman comments on death of Temirlan Machalikashvili. Due to the high interest of society, the Public Defender asks the Prosecutor"s Office to hand over the case materials.

According to Nino Lomjaria, the Ombudsman"s office monitors the case.

"I promise to do my best to determine if there was excessive use of force during the special operation and also whether he had timely medical assistance ,was everything done to save this young man alive," - Said Nino Lomjaria.

19-year-old Temirlan Machalikashvili who was wounded in a special operation in the Pankisi Gorge died several hours ago at the hospital.
