The Public Defender addressed the Tbilisi Appeal Court with the status of an amicus curiae in connection with Zviad Ratiani"s case. In the opinion of the Public Defender"s Office, the importance of the evidence presented by the neutral party is mentioned.

According to the Ombudsman, the study of the case materials found that the violation conducted by Ratiani is proved only by the testimony of the police.
