One kilometre long windbreak line has been cut near the village of Kvirike in order to free a road for a giant tree to Bidzina Ivanishvili"s dendrological park.
More than 100 perennial trees have been cut down for transportation of the giant tree in this area.
The population fears that they will face problems without windbreaks and remain defenceless in the case of storms.
According to locals in the village Kvirike, the former prime minister has promised to transfer 6,000 GEL to the population in exchange for transporting the tree.
