"Businessmen present their financial problems as pressure of the authorities," said the first deputy chairperson of the parliament of Georgia, member of the faction "Georgian Dream" Tamar Chugoshvili, regarding the events in the TV Company "Iberia".

According to Chugoshvili, businessmen "abuse" the links with TV to avoid paying taxes.

TV company "Iberia" moved to the emergency mode of broadcasting. The employees of the channel accuse the authorities of attempting to shut down the TV. "Iberia" financier "Omega Group" owner Zaza Okruashvili described the groups from the government fighting for TV as a "gang".

Nato Chkheidze, owner of TV company "Iberia", said a few days ago that she was offered to give up TV company "Iberia" in exchange for solving the financial problems of the company.
