Members of "European Georgia" will meet with the non-judge members of the High Council of Justice today regarding the composition of the Supreme Court.
At the meeting the 10-member list of judges to the Supreme Court and the legislative amendments that will support the improvement of the judiciary system will be discussed.
"We will introduce to them the package of initiatives that we have developed. Specific initiatives are related to the formation of a working group and the rules for interviewing judges of the Supreme Court. We are also familiar with their initiative, which is very interesting and we want to come to the common positions regarding their initiative, "- said Otar Kakhidze.
"European Georgia" calls on the Parliament to adopt a resolution according to which the existing list of judges will be revoked, and the new list will be written on the basis of specific criteria.
