After the expiration of the contract term with Gazprom, the government is working on a new agreement with the Russian side.The statement was made by the Economy Minister today.
Giorgi Kobulia says that details and terms of the contract will be known later.
"We are holding negotiations and while negotiations are underway, the terms of the previous contract continue to operate. We talk about the improvement of this contract and I think that our negotiations will end in two weeks and what will not be confidential, in this case I will tell you all, "- Giorgi Kobulia said.
The contract according to which Armenia was supplied with natural gas through Georgiaexpired on December 31, 2018.
