State Minister for Reconciliation Ketevan Tsikhelashvili comments on the death of a woman in the occupied Tskhinvali. According to her, the population of the region is in critical condition. State Minister calls on the “puppet regime” to open the only way.

"The population is in very critical condition. This tragedy is not the only case. This is another victim of the occupation regime. I urge everyone to immediately open the Akhalgori crossing point as the population is in real danger", - said Tsikhelashvili.

Margo Martiashvili, who suffered a stroke in the Russian-controlled Akhalgori district, has died in the hospital of occupied Tskhinvali as her relatives were unable to transport her to the Tbilisi-controlled territory via the shortest route due to the closure of the so-called border. Matriashvili lived in the village of Ikorta, Akhalgori, which has been isolated from the rest of Georgia for about two months due to the current tension at the villages of Tsnelisi and Chorchana.
