Unidentified individuals have damaged icons and other items in Surb Khach Church in Akhalkalaki.

This is the second case of vandalism in this church in the last seven months. According to the representative of Surb Khach Church, the incident was discovered on November 3.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
The church was also damaged on April 3, 2019. Police at the time launched an investigation into intentional damage to or destruction of a cultural heritage site protected by the Georgian law.
