Gia Volski, the first Vice-speaker of the Parliament, commented on nominating Irakli Shotadze as a candidate for the Prosecutor General position.
“He was a person who knew how to do things right. As for his resignation, I think it was the right decision at that time, but I disagreed with it. For now, I will support Irakli Shotadze"s candidacy”, - said Gia Volski.
According to the information of the General Prosecutor’s Office, lawyer David Kodanashvili has applied to them to register as a candidate for the Prosecutor General of Georgia, while another candidate - lawyer Irakli Shotadze – has been nominated by LEPL Georgian Technical University.
