With the aim to ensure the enforcement of measures taken within the frames of the state of emergency, additional police checkpoints have been arranged at the entrances of Tsageri and Lentekhi.

Due to high epidemiological risk, in order to control the health of civilians and monitor their movement, the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the representatives of the Ministry of Defense will ensure the enforcement of the imposed strict regulations in a round-the-clock and provide preliminary screening of citizens.

At the police checkpoints citizens will undergo initial thermal screening. Employees of the MIA will provide locals with comprehensive information regarding quarantine restrictions and provide assistance in case if needed.
