According to Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governor Alexander Motserelia, the flow of people and cars has increased and despite the mobilization of the police and the municipality, the process has become unmanageable.

“I would like to apologize to the entrepreneurs who have become victims of the citizens, which refused to keep distance. It is irresponsible and disrespectful to everyone and we have been forced to start the process of closing the market. The police will act without compromise”, - said Motserelia.

He added that Poti market will also be closed. The markets may open after the holidays.
