Georgian startup company Scroll launched an electric scooter-sharing system in Tbilisi and Batumi.
The Mayor of the capital Kakha Kaladze attended the presentation of the pilot project which is supported by the Tbilisi City Hall.
These scooters will be available to users after they download the application (BIRD) and learn the rules of using the scooters from the website www.scroll.eco. The first 10 minutes of riding electric scooters will be free of charge which will be activated once the user gets a special promo code.
The aim of this project is to rebalance streets and improve the environmental situation in cities. Electric scooters will be disinfected several times a day in accordance with the recommendations issued by BIRD. Using gloves and disinfection solutions is mandatory for the riders.
