A fire in Varketili district has been localized

A fire in Varketili district has been localized, and firefighters are now combating the blaze, according to Head of the Emergency Management Service Otar Kereselidze. A total of 1,000m2 has reportedly been devastated.

No risks of an explosion at the filling station exist any longer. 25 fire brigades are now working on the scene.

A policeman and a citizen have been hurt in the Varketili fire and hospitalized with minor injuries.

A fire has broken out at the territory of the Varketili Market in Tbilisi. The reason is still unknown. Full financial damages have not been estimated yet.
